CIO Council

The NPower CIO Council is a leadership body of corporate Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and other IT leaders.

The CIO Council has a threefold mission.

  • Advise the Network Board of Directors on the design and development of the NPower Platform and on Main Menu recommendations. As part of the latter, CIO Council members will interface with the Affiliate IT Council and vet affiliate-developed solutions for possible Network- wide adoption.
  • Assist in the expansion of NPower's Technology Service Corps (TSC) by providing intelligence about industry and employer trends and promoting internship, employment and professional development opportunities for TSC students and graduates.
  • Help NPower attract new resources to power the overall success of its strategies, programs and solutions. The CIO Council plays a key role organizing and hosting NPower's annual benefit event in New York City, and may be involved in local affiliate fundraising activities as appropriate.
