Nick Humen
Senior Manager of Administration and Finance
Nick joined NPower NY in October of 2005 as the Senior Manager of Administration and Finance and brings over 13 years of experience in finance for nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining NPNY, Nick worked for six years as the Manager of Finance and Administration at Columbia University’s School of Law and the previous seven years in senior management positions at Helen Keller International and Action Against Hunger – USA.
His varied experience in both international and domestic organizations (all of different sizes, missions, and budgets) has enabled Nick to develop a well-rounded perspective of nonprofit operations and the ability to manage well in a variety of organizations. He is thrilled to join an organization whose focus is on New York City and the incredible people and resources that are a part of it.
Nick holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with a concentration in Management and Finance. He is the treasurer of the board of SIPA’s alumni network, the EMPA Forum. In his free time, Nick loves to cook and entertain his friends.
