Stephanie Hyacinth
Senior Manager of Development
Prior to joining NPower NY, Stephanie was a freelance fundraising consultant. With more than 15 years experience, Stephanie served as Director of Development for The Irvington Institute for Immunological Research, a leading funder of postdoctoral fellowships in immunology; Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the YWCA of the City of New York; and as a Program Director at Brakeley, John Price Jones (now Brakeley Briscoe Inc.); one of the top fundraising consulting firms in the world with offices in the United States and Europe.
A graduate of Vassar College with an A.B. degree in Latin American History, Stephanie served on the College's Alumnae/i Board and as a Director-at-Large to the Friends of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center. She is also member of the Vassar Club of New York and an Alumni Admissions Interviewer. She also served as Past President of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum's Design League; and participated on several of the Museum's benefit committees, specifically for the Annual Tabletop Auction at Christie's, the Comite Colbert Foundation, and the inaugural Winter Antiques Young Collectors' Night Benefit for East Side House Settlement. She is a Director and former Dancer/Performer with Manhattan Dance/Theatre.
Stephanie loves living in her forever "fixer-upper" Brooklyn brownstone, baking cookies, celebrating the Christmas holidays, dancing, attending the ballet (New York City Ballet of course!), and volunteering for various causes. She believes "Every day provides us with opportunities to make a difference in someone's life."
