Christine Stearn
Technology Service Corps Program Manager
Before joining NPower NY, Christine spent two years working at the Worldwatch Institute, a Washington D.C. environmental think-tank that provides interdisciplinary research on global environmental issues. At Worldwatch, she split her time between managing their information technology and their website. Prior to Worldwatch, she spent a summer in Kenya with the School for Field Studies studying community wildlife management in pursuit of a symbiotic relationship between the needs of local people and wildlife.
Christine graduated from Babson College with a degree in Management Information Systems and is inspired by creative uses of technology applied towards meaningful causes.
In her spare time, Christine shoots and edits short films on a variety of topics, grows flowers in her tiny urban garden in Brooklyn, and loves to run and bike.
